Racing...

This is for fun...because it's summer! My wife and I spent this past Sunday in Bark River at Round 6 of the World Series of Off Racing races. We really got into following short track off road racing when we were living in Crandon. We also have some friends who race light buggies. One of our goals as a family is to "get into" short track racing within the next 5 years by forming a family race team. One step we have taken to make this a reality is to simply write this goal down. One of my first memories that I have of Marinette Middle School is Mr. DeWitt explaining that we are 80 percent more likely to accomplish our goals by simply writing them down. This is something that I have taken to heart and tried to live by over the last year. I not only have my personal goals written down, but have expanded the philosophy to my professional goals and most recently including my family in family goals. I encourage you to do the same.
