A Surprise Honor Level 1 Reward will take place today from 2-3p.m. in the gymnasium. Students will have the hour to enjoy music, dancing, social time as well as a chance to win a prize!
We will run the Honor Level Schedule. Shortly before 2p.m. I will dismiss students from class and ask them to report to their homerooms. At that time, homeroom teachers will pass out Honor Level 1 Slips. Students should bring these slips to the gym where they will be able to place them in a box (there will be a box for each grade level). Slips will be drawn from each box throughout the hour. Students names will be announce and they will be able to choose a prize from a prize box that will be on the stage. There will be a hundred or so prizes...so chances of winning are high. Students who are not on Honor Level 1 will be told by their homeroom teacher which room to report to. I request one teacher from each grade level team to supervise Honor Level 2-4 students. Please figure this out as a team. I also request that all staff, grade level and Encore, who are not supervising Honor Level 2-4 students help with supervision in the gymnasium.
At 2:52 I will begin dismissing students from the gym by grade level starting with 8th grade. Students may leave the gym, go to their locker and then leave. Staff supervising in the gym should leave at the same time their grade level is dismissed and supervise in the hallways and around the building.
More than likely, Honor Level 1 slips will not be in your mailboxes until late this morning. Please be sure to check your mailboxes sometime after 10:00am. Also there is a possibility that a few students may not receive a Honor Level 1 slip, but are on Honor Level 1. These students would be new students that joined us during the first week of school. I have "blank" Honor Level 1 Slips if needed. Let me know if there are any questions about this.
Thanks for your flexibility and help in making this a successful Honor Level Reward.
