HLS, DETENTIONS & OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

I just received the updated software for the Honor Level System. I will work with the IT department to install this today. Linda will then have to manually input some of the staff names as well as update some "new" student info. The system should be ready to go on Friday. Any infractions that are written before Friday will not be input until then. Detentions will start next week on Monday. We have upgraded the HLS software to include a phone dialer extension that will make notifying parents by Alert Now even easier. Parents of students who receive infractions will be notified by a phone message explaining that their child has received and infraction and will need to serve a consequence the following school day.

Monday was the first day that unexcused tardy slips were given out. Please remember to send ANY student who is not in class by the 7:50a.m. bell to the office.

Think ahead...Friday, September 19 is the 3rd Friday Count. It is extremely important that attendance be taken accurately for each class period. If you notice there are students on your class rosters who have yet to show up for class, please notify the office by the end of this week.

The Discipline Committee will meet at 7:15a.m. on Thursday. Any staff member can participate in this committee. This first meeting will be in an open format to steer the direction we want this committee to take. We will also discuss HLS infractions and rewards. See you in the conference room on Thursday!

A HEADs UP...Shortly, we will begin submitting student behavior office referrals through skyward. I am currently testing this with Skyward and will have a easy to follow "HOW TO" directions posted soon. Watch for future posts on this.
