WORDS FROM THE AP

I hope everyone enjoyed yesterday's presentation and was able to take with them at least one idea or tip from the presentation. Bev Schewe suggested using Picasa to download and manage pictures and picture files. This was a great suggestion as Picasa is the most powerful, easy to use picture organization and editing software...and best of all it's free. Visit picasa.google.com for more information on Picasa or to download the software.

Currently there are no student in ISS and very few infractions coming into the office. Also, very few students have yet to be sent to the office. Thanks for following your classroom management plans and being proactive in dealing with student issues. This has allowed me to work on preventing major discipline problems before the occur instead of having to dealing with an behavior event after it has happened. There are a couple of students who will be serving detentions and or perform after-school service projects today. Please check your e-mail for more information on these students.

If and when you do write an infraction please check only one reason and them make some brief comments on the back of the infraction. Patti and Denice do accept infractions by e-mail...make sure you include one of the reasons, students name and grade. Please submit all infractions to the office by 3:17pm each day to ensure they will be processed for the following day.

Adam has posted an informative video on his blog, www.marinettemiddleschool.blogspot.com that reviews the basics of the Kodak C533 as well as explains more advanced features such as video and scene modes. Check it out...and remember the Kodak Digitals are for you to enhance and integrate into your curriculum. Please use them.

Have a great Thursday!!!
